DeLaval Herd Navigator™ 100 Wins Award at AGROS Exhibition in Moscow

An important event for the Russian agro-industrial sector – AGROS 2022 International Trade Fair for Animal Husbandry, Breeding, and Feed Production – was held in Moscow last month. DeLaval Herd Navigator™ 100 won Best Product 2022 at the Grand Prix in the AGROS for the professional use of biomodeling technology, which improves animal health and reduces the costs of veterinary and reproductive services.

​​​​​​​“In 2021, 28 Herd Navigator™ 100 units have been sold in the RUCAR territory which amounts to 50% of the total VMS sales. This indicates a high demand for the product in the market”, says Sergey Volkov, Solution Manager Farm Management Support Systems.

The DeLaval booth also showcased DeLaval E300 virtual tours, InService™ All Inclusive advantages, milking clusters. But it was the DeLaval VMS™ V310 milking robot that became the focus of attention. Russia is witnessing a surge in robotic milking, and farm representatives visited the DeLaval booth to see how the equipment worked and to learn more about DeLaval’s innovative solutions.

The AGROS exhibition was accompanied by an extensive business agenda dedicated to sustainable development in dairy farming. Fabian Bernal, Head of Sustainability of DeLaval Group, gave a video speech on the plenary session “International experience in dairy sustainability and ESG“ held by High School of Economics. His speech “The path that we shall follow“ was highlighting the challenges and opportunities for the dairy industry in Russia based on international experience.
