DeLaval wins gold medal at Elmia Innovation Awards for DeLaval Evanza™

Elmia

DeLaval Evanza™ utilises a new technology where the liners are built as a cartridge that quickly can be replaced when needed. Even the short milk hose can easily be changed with a bayonet lock. ”For large farms with a lot of milking points this means saving many hours when changing liners and tubes,” says Marika Cederholm, Product Manager Liners & Tubes Region Asia & Pacific på DeLaval International.

DeLaval Evanza™ was launched on the Swedish market in January 2020 and is the biggest innovation in its field that DeLaval has launched for 20 years.  The cartridge includes the efficient liner DeLaval Clover™ and durability is twice as long compared to traditional liners.  The shelf life of the short milk hose is four times longer than previous versions.

Data from a reseach study made by Kiel Universitet shows that Evanza™ generates a milk flow that is 9.3% higher than previous generations of milking clusters. Tests from pilot farms show up to 7% shorter milking times and up to 92% improved teat condition scores when using Evansa compared to previous generations of milking clusters.

”Elmia Innovation Award is a very important award in our industry and we are very proud and grateful to be one of the companies to be awared with a gold medal. DeLaval Evanza™ is a new produt that we believe will improve the lives of dairy farmers and promote good udder health,” says Helena Håkansson, Market Solution Manager MAQAH, Linder & Tubes and Milking Support DeLaval.
