“It is a privilege and an honour for me to participate in the inauguration of the most important and latest supply chain improvement done by DeLaval in the last 20 years. This large investment also shows our commitment and belief in Germany as an excellent base for industrial activities,” said Lars Renström.

“We have established a state-of-the-art warehouse for our assortment. After our start up last year, we now have a very solid base for future supply chain footprint serving DeLaval customers and dealers,” Lars continued.

These new DeLaval facilities will offer improved quality (safety standards for handling of products and quality assurance processes), manufacturing capacity (future-proofing the storage facility for further expansion) and efficiency (improving order flexibility, reduce lead-times and the ability to store all products under one roof).

The distribution centre has been designed to improve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, and is LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a global third party verification for green buildings).
