Varsel regarding 26-100 positions at DeLaval International in Sweden

“The current market situation, particularly in Europe, is a very tough economic one for large numbers of dairy farmers and many chose to delay their future investments”, says Lars Johansson, SVP Corporate Communications at DeLaval. He continues, “We therefore need to adjust our operations in Tumba accordingly to match the market situation and at the same time continue to drive ongoing decisions regarding our business strategy.”

DeLaval International in Tumba has therefore submitted a varsel regarding 26-100 positions, and at the same time initiated negotiations with the unions.

“We hope to be able to finalise the negotiations by the end of the year”, says Lars Johansson.
