DeLaval acquires Dutch dairy information management company

DeLaval, the leading supplier of solutions for dairy farmers, has acquired Assen-based Uniform-Agri, a leading information management system provider for dairy farmers. Their management program characterizes itself through powerful substantiated analysis, custom links with process computers and a validated database. The company employs approximately 40 people. Uniform-Agri will continue as an independent company inside the DeLaval Group under its current name.

“It is our ambition to continue to grow Uniform-Agri business through the existing global distribution network and engage into future new business opportunities”, says Jan-Ove Nilsson, newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Uniform Agri and Vice President Business Area Capital Goods at DeLaval International.

Harm-Jan Van der Beek, current Managing Director and former owner, will continue in his role as Managing Director for Uniform-Agri. Harm-Jan has extensive experience in the dairy business and has successfully developed the company during the last 20 years.
